On the morning of March 23rd, Guo Dongming, President of the Dalian University of Technology(DUT) held a talk with Dai Jishuang, Chairman of the Shenyang Blower Works Group Corporation and his delegation on the future development of the SBW-DUT Research Institute. The meeting also features Song Yongchen, Vice President of DUT, and representatives of the Institute of Science and Technology and the SBW-DUT Research Institute.
Mr. Guo noted that, with over 10 years¡¯ development history, the SBW-DUT Research Institute has made a great progress. He hoped that the SBW-DUT Research Institute could improve SBW Corporation¡¯s innovation capability and, at the same time, the cooperation could be broadened to build a more close strategic partnership.
Thanks to DUT¡¯s support for the SBW-DUT Research Institute, the institute has solved a series of critical technical problems and improved the corporation¡¯s technical innovation capability over the years, Mr. Dai noted. He hoped that this visit could bring deepened cooperation and make a future development plan for the institute. This will enable the institute to better meet the market needs and make a full use of discipline advantages of DUT. With a clear positioning, the institute will be created into a major innovation and R&D base of the SBW Corporation.
A senior executive office meeting was then held at the SBW-DUT Research Institute¡¯s conference room, where the two sides listened to the work report and discussed the further plan. An agreement on further strategic partnership has been made to point out a direction for the SBW-DUT Research¡¯ s future development.
